  1. Wow! I might use this with my Orff Ensemble! What kind of form do you usually use for this piece?

    1. Hi Erin
      My generic form for a piece like this would be- All in two times (4 if there was only one ending) then layer CCB, add BX, add AX, add SX, add perc. Once all are in, play two times and then SX solo 1x (second ending), all in, ax solo, all in, bx solo, all in, perc solo, all in for 2x and then end (you may have to remind CCB that they got their solo at the beginning of the layering 🙂
      This formal structure is not my creation- I stole it from Walt Hampton’s excellent marimba books!
